today we were talking about the nine stars  (not seven) of Matariki so i made a google slide about all the stars and what they are for.

fair trade poem

this term in class we have been working on fair trade. here are The things we did for it:

• we made fair trade poems on fair trade coffee bean sacks with Indian ink and stencils.
• we ate fair trade chocolate (it was delicious).
• we looked at other people's fair trade poems on the fair trade website.
• some people bought fair trade food packages from home.

New world trip

on Thursday last week, Te kinga went into town to go on a grocery shopping expedition. first a nutritionist came and talked us though about foods and nutrition. then we went in to town and did an expedition to find every day foods and occasional  food. after we finished that, Jessica (the nutritionist) gave us a sixty dollar voucher to get some healthy things for smoothies. before we went to the super market we went to the Greymouth recreation centre and after we went to the super market we went to the library and Dickson park.

Rain

today we were writing about rain because there was a big storm in lake Brunner (our village)

Shirley's car

in our class, we each made up a story about how our principal, Shirley crashed her car
please note: it is true that Shirley's car crashed but it was not her fault. it was just a case of slippery gravel and steep hills.
